According to the Speaker, “It is the United National Movement party and its patrons and funders from abroad who are behind violent scenarios in the country. The statement of speakers came after the State Security Service on Wednesday claimed unspecified groups from foreign soil are trying to disturb the law and order in the country.

The speaker said there is may evidence that shows that the opposition party is power-hungry and wants to grab the power in an undemocratic way. He further underlined that UNP is provoking the protestors to attack the members of the law enforcement agency to cause the chaos in country for their personal and vested interests.

He also alleged that  “violent processes” were “inspired by radical groups” and drew parallels with the protest wave that occurred in Ukraine ten years ago in  2014.  It is to be added that the state security service agency recently claimed that the protests are being filled by radical forces.

They also claimed that there are some outsider elements from the foreign nation funding the protest. These protesters are using violent measures to attack the police force and members of other law enforcement agencies as well. It is also to be added that large-scale protests are being held in many parts of the country including Tbilisi, the capital city of Georgia.
