Caucasus University (CU) hosted Chetin Chelik, Professor of Kochi University, Turkey, within the framework of the Erasmus+ Program that is theadministrative mobility program. Notably, the main aim of the program was to strengthen international academic cooperation.
During the visit, an introductory meeting was held with the representatives of the Department of International Relations of the Caucasus University (CU).
It is worth noting that at the meeting, both sides discussed existing partnerships and future opportunities. The visiting professor was introduced to the university’s academic programs, international collaborations, and key achievements.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the cooperation between the universities, and the representatives of the department briefed the guest about the current curriculum, international programs, and achievements at the university. Also, an introductory meeting was held with the Academic Head of the Bachelor of Sociology Program at the Caucasus School of Humanities and Social Sciences – Keso Esebua.
It should be noted that the University of Kochi is an important partner of the Caucasus University in Turkey. The agreement signed between the universities takes into account both academic and administrative staff as well as student mobility within the research and teaching component.
It is also worth noting that the University is one of Caucasus University’s key academic partners in Turkey. The cooperation agreement between the two institutions supports mobility programs for students, faculty, and administrative staff under both teaching and research initiatives.
Caucasus University
Caucasus University is a private university in Tbilisi, Georgia. The university was established in 2004. It is the successor to the Caucasus School of Business, founded in 1998 in partnership with Georgia State University, Atlanta, U.S., during Georgia’s transitional period from a planned to a free market economy.
