The student of the Caucasus University, Mariam Jishkariani who attended the Tallinn University of Estonia shared her experience. She describes her stay in Estonia as an international student a wonderful and lifelong experience.
Speaking specifically she added “One of the reasons for entering the Caucasus University was the opportunity to participate in the Erasmus + program. The University gave me the opportunity to turn this wish a reality and study at Tallinn University of Technology Estonia for one semester.”
She stated “Although I was initially nervous about the adaptation process, however the interesting university activities from the first day allowed me not to feel like a stranger and most importantly, I got close to students from different countries and got to know their language and culture.”
In addition to knowing different educational systems I could travel to several countries other than Estonia. One of the reasons for choosing the cold country of Northern Europe in winter was the opportunity to see Tsiali. Three o’clock in the morning, teaming up and chasing Aurora will remain my favorite memory here. Even though I still couldn’t see it, chasing a green flash in the middle of the night, even without success, was a lot more fun than it sounds added Mariam Jishkariani.
According to Mariam Jishkariani, it’s a strange yet amazing feeling to end up in a place full of complete strangers who make you feel at home even when you’re 3,000 kilometers away from home and discover a completely different version of yourself, much more confident and independent.
She further said In the end it was an enjoyable semester that changed me a lot and it was probably one of the best decisions of my life. I’m glad I dared, grew up and made good memories that I will never tire of telling.
She repeatedly mentioned the assistance provided by the University administration and underlined the efforts “Finally I would like to thank Caucasus University for the opportunity and Tallinn University of Technology for the unforgettable experience, and I would like to suggest everyone avail themselves of the benefits of the program as well.
