The Health Ministry of Georgia said that the nation has reported 910 new cases of COVID-19, with 8,081 recoveries and 32 fatalities in the past 24 hours. The positivity rate for the past two weeks stands at 20.44 per cent.
Overall, there are currently 47,244 active cases of Coronavirus throughout the country.Â
Moreover, as per the figures given by the health authorities of Georgia, a total of 6,685 tests were conducted throughout the country within the last 24 hours, out of which 4,449 were rapid antigen tests, and the remaining 2,236 were PCR tests.
Since February 26, 2020, the country has recorded a total of 1,626,282 cases of Coronavirus. Out of 1,626,282 cases of COVID-19, a total of 1,562,614 patients have recovered, while 16,398 people have succumbed to it.

Furthermore, as of today, there are currently 2,459 patients who are undergoing treatment in hospitals, while 44 884 people are undergoing treatment at home and by consulting their family doctors. There are 622 people who are undergoing treatment in the intensive care unit.
A total of 1,351,863 people have received at least one dose of any vaccine in the country so far, while 1,248,841 individuals have been fully vaccinated, amounting to 43 per cent of the country’s adult population.
 In total, 225,440 individuals have received booster shots of the vaccine.Â
As of today, around 33.6% of the total population of Georgia has been fully vaccinated against COVID-19, which accounts for 12.5L of people. As of now, around 29.1% doses of vaccine has been given.
