Dmanisi: The administration of the Dmanisi Municipality going to construct the new playgrounds. This will aim to promote healthy lifestyles.
It is to be mentioned explicitly that to promote a healthy lifestyle in the villages of Mamishlo and Bazakhlo of Dmanisi municipality the work of arranging a sports ground and a square with an artificial surface is underway. The construction work is scheduled to be completed very soon.
The mayor of Dmanisi municipality, Koba Muradashvili together with the first deputy Mayor Kakha Petriashvili the chairman of the council, Paata Kuliashvili and the employees of the infrastructure service evaluated the work process on the spot. The project is being implemented with a total budget allocation of 733237 GEL.
The new sports ground will also have dedicated spaces for children. The space will be equipped with swings, slides and other equipment. The villages are surrounded by green hills which make the location wonderful and attractive. The main ground will have space for football, volleyball etc. The establishment of the new grounds was the long-pending demand of the local residents of the Municipality.
During the visit of the Mayor and other members of the visiting delegation the construction company’s workers were busy in their work. The visiting delegation also interacted with the construction company officials and assured them of every kind of assistance for the timely completion of the project.
On the other hand the project company officials also assured the Mayor and other delegation members that the work would be completed early. The Mayor said that it is very important to provide the maximum number of sports facilities for the citizens. He also added that due to unhealthy lifestyles people are becoming prone to many life-threatening diseases.
The diseases associated with an unhealthy lifestyle can be prevented if people are encouraged to adopt a healthy lifestyle. Healthy people can play a crucial role in the country’s development, whereas sick and unhealthy people only become the liability of any country.
