A new social project “Technological bridge between generations” is actively being carried out at the “Support House” located in city of Dmanisi. This is being implemented under the framework of “students welfare projects.”
During the event under this project students were provided with tablets who were selected in the educational process of the project. It is also worth to mention that the event was attended by the mayor of Dmanisi municipality, who as a co-participant and gave computers to members of the Dmanisi branch of the “Support House” within the framework of the project.
The regional coordinator of CENN in Kvemo Kartli Mariko Tsikoridze personally got acquainted with the ongoing teaching processes and planned activities within the project as well. It is to be added that the CENN is also helping the the needy students since long time and being appreaicted by the the government and other agencies as well.
On this occasion the key speakers while addressing the attendee said that this project has the potential to bring dramatic change in the life of students as well. The project will also bridge the gap between the educational levels of students from different communities. Similarly, the event organisers said the project will further enhance the opportunity for the students to upgrade their skills.
In the digital age the education system has also implemented the latest technology. Most of the schools and other higher education institutions have installed their own software systems to provide the best exposure to the digital world to the students on this occasion as well.
The students who were present during this event said that this initiative of providing digital gadgets to the students is very beneficial, and they are happy to receive these gifts from the group’s organizer.
The key speaker at the event also thanked the students and others for attending. They assured the students that the efforts will continue to uplift the educational standard in these schools and other higher-level education institutions.
