Zestafoni, Georgia: The Georgian Minister of Education, Science and Youth, Givi Mikanadze, visited “Construct2” vocational college in Zestafoni, where he inspected educational spaces and workshops relevant to modern standards.
The Ministry of Education, Science, and Youth of Georgia shared the glimpses of the minister’s visit on its official Facebook Page on Saturday, September 6, 2025. The Georgian Ministry also shared a small note about his visit, along with its glimpses.
The minister met with the college staff and received information about the activities and achievements of the school. As Givi Mikanadze noted, Construct 2 is indeed the best example of a public-private partnership that gives young people employment opportunities as soon as they graduate from college.
Students of “Construct 2” have a real opportunity to start an independent career as soon as they finish their studies – today we are convinced of this once again. This is really the best example of successful cooperation between the state and the private sector. The college prepares construction workers to the highest standard in demand, with a 100% employment rate.
In the near future, in Akhaltsikhe municipality, specifically in Vale, we will open a new branch of “Construct2″, where more than 300 young people will receive vocational education in construction every year,” said the minister.
College “Construct2” is an educational institution jointly founded by the Ministry of Education, Science, and Youth of Georgia and “BK Construction” Ltd. It is also worth noting that the college is focused on the development of the construction direction in the country and preparing high-quality staff.
The Educational Institution provides both vocational education programs and vocational training/vocational training programs in construction. The college has the opportunity to train up to 800 certified listeners annually.
The College is equipped with the latest standards-relevant learning inventory and state-of-the-art machinery. The College premises feature comfortable common living, a well-appointed and landscaped courtyard, a recreation area, and a library equipped with the latest literature and technology.
