Georgia’s Ministry of Education, Science, and Youth is renowned for its innovative techniques that have significantly upgraded the standard of school education. The ministry has now organized a presentation on the concept of diversification of early and preschool education systems, with the aim of ensuring universal access to preschool education and creating an inclusive educational environment.
The presentation which was organized by the Ministry of Education, Science, and Youth had the support of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). At the same time the involvement of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) helped the ministry in many ways to make changes in the educational infrastructure of schools.
At the presentation the key speakers presented the results of a large-scale research . This research carried out by the Ministry with the active support of JICA has made a comprehensive analysis of international experience and the current situation and needs in the education system of Georgia.
Moreover the key speakers of the event also presented a research report that UNICEF carried . UNICEF (United Nations International Children Emergency Fund) conducted the research under the theme”Diversification of Preschool Education in Europe and Central Asia.”
The presentation was attended by Zviad Goguadze Deputy Mayor of Khashuri Municipality and Lela Gelashvili Head of Kindergarten Association. It should be noted that in partnership with JICA, Japanese volunteers will work in the association of kindergartens in Khashuri municipality.
As a result of the diversification of preschool education, municipalities will have the opportunity to benefit from a flexible and cost-effective model of preschool education delivery that is tailored to local needs and the best interests of the child.
The diversification approach has many positive impacts. It advocates implementing diverse teaching methods in a single system. This approach also aims to fulfill the diverse needs of society, children, parents, etc. Diversification has the great potential to respond quickly and effectively to challenges, offering a hopeful and optimistic outlook for the future of education.
