Head of CSS4D visits Black Sea International University

Ioseb Salukvadze the head of the ongoing project "Computer Social Sciences for Development (CSS4D)" visited Black Sea International University. The head of the project   presented a 360-degree video and audio system for conducting the hybrid meetings as a gift to the University administration as well.

Tbilisi:  Ioseb Salukvadze the head of the ongoing project “Computer Social Sciences for Development (CSS4D)” visited Black Sea International University. The head of the project   presented a 360-degree video and audio system for conducting the hybrid meetings as a gift to the University administration as well.

The other dignitaries who graced the occasion with their esteem presence include the co-head of the project, Temur Gugushvili, vice-rector of the Black Sea International University in the field of administration, Giorgi Makharashvili, vice-rector in the research field, Thea Kbiltsetshvili vice-rector in the field of quality, Nino Jojua  Dean of the School of Education, Humanities and Social Sciences, Tamar Shioshvili the administrative director of the school, Nina Miruashvili and affiliated associate of the business schoolb  Azer Dilanchiev as well.

 

It is to be added that the ongoing project is being implemented within the framework of the School of Education, Humanities and Social Sciences  which involves the development of a common master’s program with the cooperation between the Black Sea International University and Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University for which the aforementioned infrastructure will be used.

It is also worth to mention that under the same project the members of the project provided the present public with information about the progress of the project and exchanged opinions regarding future activities with the attendees.  The project “Computer Social Sciences for Development (CSS4D)” is under implementation by the cooperation among the different universities, which include Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Black Sea International University, Akaki Tsereteli State University, and Linköping University (Sweden).

 

Moreover, the project is being financed by the  World Bank and the support of the Competitive Innovation Fund ( CIF) grant program for its successful execution. A demonstration of the operating mechanism of the newly gifted system was also held for the university staff. The IBSU shared this information and glimpses of the event on its social media handles.

Meanwhile  social media users also laud the donation of audio-visual systems for organizing the online meeting. They also appreciated the efforts in the direction of quality education as well.
