An educational-scientific camp is being organized in Tskaltubo municipality with the support of the Ministry of Education and Culture of Abkhazia. It should be noted that several cognitive and cultural activities are being organized for the expelled participants from Abkhazia.
Among them was a visit to Kutaisi’s technology hub, where the teens visited the technology museum, educational and entrepreneurial spaces, and modern technology laboratories.
In the Technology Hub of Kutaisi, the participants of the camp met with the Chairman of the Abkhazia Regional Government, Giorgi Jincharadze, the Minister of Education and Culture of Abkhazia, Giorgi Dzadzamia, and the Minister of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia, Givi Mikanadze.
Children had the opportunity to get detailed answers to interesting and important questions, as well as share their initiatives and wishes.
The meeting was attended by Yakinte Chkhartishvili, Deputy Director of the National Center for Teachers’ Professional Development, and Program Manager Ani Kudukhashvili, camp leaders and teachers.
The educational camp for 35 adults displaced from Abkhazia has created an interesting and peaceful environment, where participants have the opportunity to deepen their knowledge, acquire new skills, get closer to their peers and raise civic awareness. The program includes educational, cognitive, cultural, and entertaining activities.
For 8 days, teachers of the National Center for Professional Development will conduct lessons in history, Georgian language and literature, foreign language, value education and civic awareness for children using non-formal education methods.
After the end of the educational program, a summary event will be held, where participants will present materials and presentations prepared within the camp to guests and share the knowledge and experience gained.
