Tbilisi: To prepare the employees for successful rescue operations, a special training session was held members of emergency management services. This training session included both practical and theoretical parts.
It is worth noting that the main organizer of the training session was the State Reserves and Civil Security Services Agency. This agency works under the Emergency Situations Management Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia.
The training session was attended by members of the fire services, including firefighters and reservists of the National Guard of Georgia. Sixty reservists of the National Guard, using special equipment learned various methods of implementing lifting and rescue works.
The trainers also apprised them of the methods of evacuating the victims. Certificates were given to the reservists who successfully completed the training session.
These systematic trainings aim to strengthen inter-departmental cooperation, improve coordinated actions and develop capabilities to respond to emergencies during natural disasters.
Members of various departments showed huge interest in the training session. Interestingly, the women staff of the emergency department also participated actively in these training sessions.
It is to be mentioned specifically that every year, natural disasters cause huge problems not just in Georgia but also in other countries across the world. They get lessons on the latest fire extinguishing equipment in case of effective use to control the wildfire.
The wild fire damaged the wildlife and sometimes caused huge problems for people living in surrounding areas.
Firefighters were also given a live demonstration of equipment so that they could use it without any problems.
At the same time there was also a question-and-answer session in which the employees got the opportunity to ask their queries relating to successful rescue operations.
The instructor also explained to the employee the importance of time management and how delay can pose the biggest threat to human life and property.
The Emergency management services also shared glimpses of the event on their social media accounts. The social media users appreciated the department’s efforts to provide training to employees.
