Khashuri celebrates new year with various events

Khashuri, Georgia: The government administration of Khashuri is inviting everyone to join the New Year celebration on December 30, 2023, at Central Square and the area around Dimitri Kipiani Square. 

The event will feature a variety of activities, entertainment, and surprises for people of all ages and interests.

The celebration will start at 14:00 with a march of Santa, elves, and costume heroes, who will spread joy and cheer to the crowd. The Christmas market will also open at the same time, offering a chance to buy local products, handmade items, and delicious treats such as mulled wine, cinnamon cookies, and hot chocolate.

For the children, there will be a unique space where they can enjoy face painting, Christmas trees, birches, greeting cards, and a cookie painting workshop. They can also meet Santa and receive gifts from him.

The evening will be filled with music and dance, as the popular Georgian folk group “Alilo” and the rock band “Regioni” will perform live on stage. The host of the show will be Salome Arshba, a well-known TV personality and singer.

The highlight of the event will be the ceremonial fireworks at 19:30, which will light up the sky and create a spectacular sight. The fireworks will also mark the countdown to the New Year and the beginning of a new chapter for Khashuri and its people.
