Tbilisi: Austrian graphic designer Stefan Zagmeister, who won the Grammy award twice will visit the Tbilisi design festival. The Festival is going to be held on May 1, 2024, by the initiatives of the AD BLACK SEA.
Stefan Zagmeister worked on many major projects including Rolling Stones album covers, HBO, the Guggenheim Museum, and more. He is also a winner of almost all the major international design festivals and one of the frequently invited TED speakers. Besides this he is also the author of many best-selling books and one of the most iconic figures in the world of contemporary design.
His creation “The Happy Show” attracted a large number of visitors till now moreover with the help of the Design Institute his book will be sold and it will be possible to get the author’s signature also.
Tbilisi Design Festival aims to make a significant contribution to the growth of the creative platform of AD BLACK SEA and the development of the design direction in Georgia and other countries of the region as well.
The design festival will also include in it various lectures-seminars, panel discussions, and workshops led by leading local and foreign designers and illustrators. There will be many workshops and seminars where the attendees will get an opportunity to learn the latest trends in the field of design.
The role of design is not just confined to any particular field now rather design gained significance in almost all fields. Festival will promote the develoment of design work in Gerorgia. It will also be a platform to share the experience of international and local professionals in the field with the new generation.
