The world-famous Kutaisi international festival for the short feature and documentary films will be held in October. The application to participate in the festival can be submitted up to June 10.
This time it will be the fourth edition of the film festival playing the feature as well as documentary short films. After the registration process, the work of the selection of the film will end on August 15, 2024. The official Facebook page of the Kutaisi International Short Film Festival has the link to submit the entry for these films.
The main objective of the festival is to revive the old film culture of Georgia. This will also have an opportunity for the producers of short films to display their creative skills at the international level platform every year.
The historical rich heritage and culture of the Kutaisi make it the best choice for the organization of the festival where winners will be rewarded with attractive prizes as well. There will be three categories to select the winner in the field of best director, best cinematographer as well as best director. The prestigious Golden Dinosaur prizes will be given to Winners in each category. The jury consisting of independent film experts will select the artwork named after Mikheil Kobakhidze.
Certain rules and regulations will have to be followed as below:
1. There should be English subtitles with all the entry
2. No animation films are allowed to contest
3. The entry must be submitted before June 10 in all cases
The entire film will be reviewed by the experts of cinema including film critics as well. The submission of the entry fee is not a guarantee of selection. At the same time, the fee once submitted will not be refunded. The selection of the award-winning film will be based on the review teams of experts as mentioned above.
