Liana Isakadze, the renowned musician and violinist of Georgia passed away on July 5 at 78 year of age. Family members shared information about her death on social media. People across the country paid tribute to the music legend of the country.
Liana Isakadze born in the capital Tbilisi on August 2, 1946, graduated from the Moscow Conservatory named after Peter Tchaikovsky in 1970. She entertains music lover for a long time with his performances. During the peak of her career from 1970 to 1992 she was a soloist at the Moscow Philharmonic, then from 1981 to 1995 was artistic director of the State Chamber Orchestra of Georgia. In 1974 a Japanese documentary film was made on her life story which was a huge success.
In 1975 he was filmed in the Finnish feature film Sibelius. It is worth mentioning that in 1990 he brought the Georgian Chamber Orchestra to the German city of Ingolstadt and operated under the name “Georgian Chamber Orchestra of Ingolstadt” for a long time. She also founded a music academy named after his teacher, Davit Oistrakh in Ingolstadt.
Liana Isakadze was one of the outstanding violinists of her time. She became a violinist at the age of three. Her performance is distinguished by artistry, deep musicality and virtuosity. His repertoire includes the best examples of classical and modern music. She is the organizer of the classical music festival Batumi “Night Serenades.”
