Georgia: Finance Minister Lasha Khutsishvili met World Bank Vice President Antonella Bassani and Bank Executive Director Eugene Rugenaat in Europe and Central Asia.
The conversation touched upon cooperation between Georgia and the World Bank. It also reviewed the current macroeconomic parameters, the reforms planned for the country in the medium term, and the progress of infrastructure projects of international importance.
Once again, the parties emphasized the importance of World Bank-supported projects for the country’s sustainable development.
Deputy Ministers attended the meeting: Giorgi Kakauridze, Ekaterine Guntsadze, Mirza Gelashvili, World Bank Regional Director in the South Caucasus Roland Price.
Lasha Khutsishvili, Georgia’s Minister of Finance, met Antonnela Bassani, Vice-President of the World Bank for Europe and Central Asia, and Eugene Rhuggenaath, Executive Director of the World Bank for Georgia.
The discussion was related to cooperation between Georgia and the World Bank. Current macroeconomic parameters and midterm reforms planned by Georgia were reviewed, along with the flow of infrastructure projects of international scope and magnitude. Dignitaries once again highlighted the significance of projects supported by the World Bank for Georgia’s sustainable development.
Deputy Ministers Giorgi Kakauridze, Ekaterine Guntsadze, and Mirza Gelashvili attended the meeting, as did Rolande Pryce, Regional Director of the World Bank for the South Caucasus.
