Georgia: The Art School was opened in Daba Adigeni, on March 19, 2024, Tuesday, by the Mayor of Adigeni Municipality, Gocha Kimadze, Chairman of the City Council, Shmagi Bidzishvili, other representatives of the Samtskhe-Javakheti Trustee Administration, local self-government and students-teachers of the Art School.
The students at Art School will learn in an environment with modern standards and will be able to master a diverse curriculum on the spot. At Adigeni Art School, students will learn drawing, painting, carving, and woodworking.
They opened the first art school in Adigeni. The mayor thinks it’s more important for local youth to develop skills, and share the art, art, art, etc. – painting, carving, woodworking, etc.
Local government representatives always have the interests of the population in mind and work hard to satisfy them. Due to the high interest of locals they have decided to open an art school, also they have lots of new things planned in the future, including master classes in painting. They invite famous painters who will hold master classes for interested young people.
According to the decision of the municipal council, education in the art school will be free for all, and the cost of education will be funded by the municipality of Adigeni 100%.
The Mayor of the municipality wishes every student progress and success. “I believe you represent your municipality, your country, and your municipality, I am sure more young people will showcase their talents in this space” – said the Mayor at the opening event of the Art School.
