Georgia: The Ministry of Environment and Agriculture of Georgia offers three-month paid internships to 300 young people, and last year, about 20 of the 60 interns were employed in the ministry.
The Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture and the institutions in its system, within the initiative of the Prime Minister of Georgia, will offer up to 300 young people a three-month paid internship.
The First Deputy Minister of Environment and Agriculture of Georgia, Nino Tandilashvili, announced this in a governmental meeting which was held on Thursday, August 21, 2025. At the meeting, she also noted that specialties deficient in hydrology, geology, food safety, and veterinary are particularly important and demanding for the administration.
The Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia shared the glimpses of the session, along with a short note about the discussions held at the gathering.
According to the short note posted along with the glimpses of the meeting, it is worth mentioning that this initiative of the Prime Minister will give young people the opportunity to get paid internships in public service.
The Ministry of Environment and Agriculture constantly needs scarcity specialists, which is why students and graduates must have the opportunity to get practical experience and then get employed in our system,” noted Nino Tandilashvili.
Last year, as part of a similar program, about 60 young people interned in the ministry, and about 20 of them are already working in the ministry system.
In addition, it is noteworthy that the internship aspirants can apply for the period 1-10 September 2025, on the website administered by the government administration – www.hr.gov.ge.  The selected candidates will hold internships from October 1 to December 31, 2025.
