Georgia: Mariam Gorgadze has been appointed as the new Deputy Director of Economist, the Public Administration Officer of EIEC on May 27, 2025, Tuesday. The Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia David Songulashvili officially introduced him.
Notably, Mariam Gorgadze replaced Tamar Aladashvili as Deputy of the Environmental Information and Education Centre (EIEC) of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia, who held this post since 2018.

According to the information shared by the Ministry, it should be noted that a proper working meeting was held to discuss the previous experience of Mariam Gorgadze.
As the minister noted, Mariam Gorgadze has extensive experience working in the fields of public administration, public finance management, and local self-government reforms, both in local and international organizations.
According to David Songhulashvili, the professionalism and experience of Mariam Gorgadze will enable them to manage that small center more actively with a new vision. “Together we can implement many successful projects. Mariami will respond to new challenges with dignity, he added.
While concluding his note, the Minister congratulated Mariam Gorgradze and wished her success in her work. The Minister also thanked Tamar Aladashvili, the former director of the Environmental Information and Education Centre (EIEC), for her hard work and contribution. According to him, Tamar Aladashvili is a wonderful lady who is always committed to her work.
