In Kojori, the closing event of the “Army Camp” was held at the Sergeant Academy, named after Giorgi Antsukhelidze, where the First Deputy Minister of Education, Science, and Youth of Georgia, Levan Tzhasiashvili, and Deputy Minister of Defense, Grigol Giorgadze, participated.

During his speech, Levan Tzasiashvili thanked all sides for the work done in organizing the camp and talked about the importance of the project “Army camp” in terms of forming state thinking and promoting a healthy lifestyle among students.
The Deputy Minister of Defense of Georgia, Grigol Giorgadze, also addressed the attending community with a welcome speech. During the event, pupils were given certificates and gift sets for participating in the summer camp.
In 2025, the “Army camp” will be held at two locations: in Kojori – Sergeants Academy and in Sachkher municipality – in the mining training school named after Colonel Besik Kutateladze. Within eight rotations, more than 1700 students of the 9th, 10th, and 11th grades participated. About 200 teenagers were involved in each 6-day rotation.
The students of the school, with the help of sergeants, underwent fire training, topography, military navigation, first aid, wounded evacuation, self-rescue courses, and engineering and mining training.
In addition to military disciplines, the theater staff near the Patriarchate visited the camp and offered cognitive-educational performances to the children.
The project, initiated by the Department of Strategic Communications and Public Relations of the Ministry of Defense of Georgia, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth, with the support of the Patriarchate of Georgia, will be implemented since 2023.
