Georgia: The National Food Agency implements control of milk and milk processing factories continuously. The inspectors of the Kakheti Regional Department of the National Food Agency found an unregistered cheese enterprise as a result of an investigation carried out within the framework of state control.

A natural person, M.G. (Address: Dedoplistskaro, area near Central Park) was producing cheese, for realization, without registration in the Register of Economic Activities and recognition of the agency. The entrepreneur was fined, and the entrepreneurial process was stopped, and the removed food was allocated and destroyed under the supervision of the agency.
In addition to the above-mentioned fact, within the framework of state control, the manufacturing process of the milk processing plant in the village of Jugaani of Sighnaghi municipality has been stopped for the second time.
The natural person T.B., despite the suspension of the production process by the agency, continued his business on his own (producing cheese), for which the entrepreneur was fined 5000 GEL for repeated violations.
In 2025, the National Food Agency will have maximized the control of milk and milk processing production. According to a nationwide survey, agency inspectors found 45 unregistered milk production. About 20 entrepreneurs from here addressed the agency and started working according to the requirements of the law.
