Georgia: The Deputy Minister of Refugees, Labor, Health, and Social Protection of Georgia, Giorgi Tsagareishvili, presented the report of the 2025 activities of the State Agency for Promotion of Employment to the Parliament of Georgia.
The Ministry of Internally Displaced Persons, Labor, Health, and Social Welfare of Georgia shared the glimpses of the report on its official Facebook Page on May 11, 2026, Monday. The Georgian Health Ministry also shared a small note about the event in which the report was presented, along with its glimpses.
Giorgi Tsagareishvili was listened to on the Committee of Regional Politics and Self-Governance, as well as Environmental Protection and Natural Resources.
During the presentation of the report, the deputy minister talked about the programs implemented by the agency, the results achieved, and the progress made towards employment. According to his statement, in 2025, the number of citizens’ service centers of the State Employment Promotion Agency increased by 59%.
Attention was also focused on vocational training and qualification programs. In 2025, the agency will finance teaching in the 58 most in-demand professions. Within the framework of the program, the agency cooperated with more than 30 private and state colleges, and more than 3000 people were involved in various courses. According to the presentation of the report, 67% of graduates are already employed.
The agency actively cooperates with the private sector as well. During 2025, the agency will cooperate with more than 800 employers, and more than 14,600 vacancies will be in the system. 4,684 job seekers were transferred to the employer.
The presentation of the 2025 activity report of the State Employment Promotion Agency is planned for several more thematic committees in the near future.
