The GCCA(Georgian Competition and Consumer Agency) has participated in an educational forum held recently at the Kutaisi International University. The Agency also held an interaction with the university students.
It is to be added that this year there will be the first batch of Graduate students of KIU University to pass out. To apprise the new graduate the GCCA held an interaction with the students about the composition, powers, and other aspects of the agency as well. The students were also apprised about the internship opportunity which they can avail at the Agency. On this occasion of the educational forum more than 40 organizations participated. Both sides also discussed the scope to cooperate on various fronts to provide better employment opportunities to the newly passed graduates as well.
It is to be specifically mentioned that the Georgia Competition and Consumer Agency has signed an agreement with the Kutaisi International University in 2023 to provide better job employment opportunities to the students. The representatives of the participating companies also gave the details to students about their respective companies. The students also showed a great interest to knowing the working profiles of different companies.
It is to be added that GCCA has been working for many years to protect the interests of consumers across the country. Moreover, the agency is also determined to provide a level playing field to all the companies though a healthy competitive business environment.
The students asked their queries to the representatives of the companies. Their main concern was how to get employed soon after the completion of the course. The doubts of the students were cleared by the representatives of the companies.
The students while expressing their happiness over the forum stated that this was a great opportunity to have in-depth knowledge of the job market directly from the representative of the companies. They also demanded that such educational forums be held regularly in the future as well.
