Georgia: The National Tourism Administration (GNTA) held a meeting with representatives of domestic and inbound tourism companies working in adventure tourism. At the meeting, representatives of the private sector got familiarised with the hiking project “HIGHLANDER Svaneti, Georgia”.

“HIGHLANDER Adventure” is a global long-distance hiking project which is held in different countries of the world. This year, the project will be organized in Svaneti for the first time in Georgia. The hike will be held from Becho to Ushguli on August 25-27. Hundreds of local and foreign travellers will take part in the event.

“The National Tourism Administration supports the holding of HIGHLANDER GEORGIA. It is important to implement such large-scale projects in Georgia. This project allows adventure tourism followers to learn more about Georgia and test their abilities in hiking and various adventure destinations.
