Georgia hosts for the first time the Erasmus+ Program Country – International Week of Khaeni University of the Kingdom of Spain, which is held at Tbilisi State University named after Ivane Javakhishvili.

The Education Ministry of Georgia also shared a small note about the meeting along with its glimpses.
The International Week brings together academic leaders, international relations representatives, and Erasmus+ coordinators to exchange best practices in higher education, discuss joint programs, and explore new opportunities for student and staff mobility.
The event also serves as a platform to strengthen institutional ties, encourage joint research initiatives, and expand cooperation within European and international education networks.
Deputy Minister of Education, Science, and Youth of Georgia, Zviad Gabisonia, participated in the week. During his speech, the Deputy Minister introduced the concept of reforming the Georgian higher education system and emphasized the importance of strengthening international cooperation in this process, including the Erasmus+ program.
The goal of the week is to promote the growth of international academic mobility and to strengthen cooperation between Georgian and Spanish higher education institutions.
Together with the representatives of Georgian higher educational institutions, the Vice-Chancellor of Khaeni University, the representative of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Spain, Javier Belmont Roldan, and other participants will present the reports.
In order to promote Georgian culture, working activities and sessions are planned within the week, as well as cultural events.
Khaeni University has a successful experience of cooperation with Georgian higher educational institutions, which provides opportunities for the expansion of partnerships. Exchange programs at Khaeni University are successfully benefiting from students and professors of both private and state universities.
