Georgia: The Deputy Minister of Finance, Ekaterine Guntsadze, took part in the panel discussion held within the Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) Forum on the topic “Sovereign Debt: Competition in a Highly Competitive Environment”.
Notably, the Panel was held on January 13, 2026, Tuesday. The Deputy Minister of Georgia, Ekaterine Guntsadze, welcomed the participants with a speech in which he spoke about Georgia’s experience in debt management.
The Ministry of Finance of Georgia shared the glimpses of the panel discussion on its official Facebook Page on January 13, 2026, Tuesday. The Georgian Finance Ministry also shared a small note about the panel along with its photographs.
The panel was also attended by the heads of the Ukrainian, Polish, and Hungarian State Debt Management Department/Office, representatives of the Slovenian Ministry of Finance and the Austrian Treasury, and heads of the CEEMEA Region Capital Markets of BNP Paribas.

In her remarks, the Deputy Minister of Finance of Georgia spoke about the country’s experience in the field of debt management.
The panel also included the heads of the state debt management departments/offices of Ukraine, Poland, Romania, and Hungary, representatives of the Ministry of Finance of Slovenia and the Austrian Treasury, as well as the heads of capital markets for the CEEMEA region at BNP Paribas.
