Georgia: PM Garibashvili attends Georgian-Polish co.’s test show of unmanned aircrafts

Tbilisi: Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili attended the test show of unmanned aircrafts implemented by the Georgian-Polish company. Combat and reconnaissance unmanned flights successfully carried out the test flight.

Tbilisi: Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili attended the test show of unmanned aircrafts implemented by the Georgian-Polish company. Combat and reconnaissance unmanned flights successfully carried out the test flight. 

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili, along with the Defense Minister Juansher Burchuladze were at the FLYEYE interception type aircraft demonstration support centre – Krtsanisi by Georgian-Polish Enterprise – Delta-Webe LLC at the shooting centre of “Krtsanisi”. The  Minister of Internal Affairs Vakhtang Gomelauri, Gin Polish and Georgian specialists jointly carried out the necessary preparation procedures for demonstration flights.

FLYEYE’s unmanned flight system is designed to perform high-precision tasks in severe weather and radio-electronic combat conditions in all climate zones. 

The system provides hidden surveillance capabilities and analysis of the data received in the system in real-time, day and night. WARMATE is a combat barrage unmanned aircraft with proven effectiveness and high precision of destruction. She has different types of Cobbins. It is used in the Polish army and also by other NATO members and non-member users where used in the regular army and special forces.

LTD “Delta-Webe” was founded in Georgia by companies created with 100% participation of “Delta” companies – LLC “Delta International” and WB Electronics S.A. Georgian-Polish company’s goal is to build unmanned aircrafts. The company will be able to produce hundreds of drones in a year.

 At this stage, the company will provide procedures for WARMATE and FLYEYE-type unmanned flights.

In order to develop the military industry, an agreement has been signed between Delta-Webesa LLC and the Ministry of Defense of Georgia, which provides for the opening of the first unmanned aircraft training centre in the region. The Center’s professional instructors will train relevant personnel of the Defense Forces.

Irakli Gharibashvili, along with the Ministers of Defense and Internal Affairs, had dinner with soldiers in the new canteen of the Center for Training and Military Education – “Krtsanisi”.
