Georgia: From August 1 to December 28, 2025, the export of agro-food products from Georgia increased significantly, especially in the field of nuts and seasonal fruits.
10.9 thousand tons of nuts were exported in this period, the value of which amounted to 109.7 million US dollars. Compared to the same period of the previous year, exports grew by 173.7 tons, and revenue 67% (43.9 million US dollars).
The average export price of 1 kg of nuts was $10.04, which is 69% higher than the previous year. The main export markets of nuts are EU countries – Italy, Spain, Germany, France, Greece, the Czech Republic, and Poland, where a total of 7.1 thousand tons of nuts were exported.
9.7 thousand tons of apples were exported in August-December, the value of which amounted to 7.0 million US dollars. Compared to the analog period of the previous year, the number of exported apples increased by 31% (2.3 thousand tons), and revenue by 49% (2.3 million US dollars). The average export price of 1 kg of apples was $0.73, which is 14% higher than the period last year. Georgian apples are exported to Russia, Turkey, Belarus, Armenia, and Iraq.
From September 1 to December 28, 2025, 5.3 thousand tons of khurma and karaliok were exported from Georgia, worth 3.9 million US dollars. The average export price of 1 kg of dates and caralioc was $0.75, which is 11.1% higher than the previous year. The main export markets of Khurma and Karaliok are Russia, Armenia, Ukraine, Turkey, Belarus, and Moldova.
During the same period, the amount of tangerines exported amounted to 25.9 thousand tons, and the income was 15.2 million US dollars. The average export price of 1 kg of tangerines was $0.59, an increase of 0.9% compared to the same period last year. The main exports of tangerines are to Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan.
