Georgia: The Deputy Minister of Education, Science and Youth of , TGeorgiaamar Makharashvili, opened a seminar for public school principals and resource center representatives on the topic – “Integration of the Educational Program in the School Curriculum.”
The Ministry of Education, Science, and Youth of Georgia shared glimpses of the opening ceremony of the seminar on July 8, 2025, Tuesday. The Ministry also shared a small note along with the photographs.
Notably, the seminar brings together educators from across the country to collaborate and share insights on effective curriculum planning. The goal is to develop a more holistic and value-driven school environment that supports both the academic growth and personal development of students.
According to the Ministry’s note, it should be noted that during the two-day seminar, a framework document of educational activities tailored to the needs of the school will be developed, which will be recommended to all schools.
Tamar Makharashvili spoke to the participants of the seminar about the importance of the upbringing component in the educational process. As she noted, it is school principals who should be able to harmonize the upbringing and educational process to ensure that the school functions properly as a united body. She said the Ministry is encouraging resource center heads and school principals to share practical advice and experiences on developing a unified instruction framework document.
On the first day of the seminar, participants gained information on planning, monitoring, and evaluation of the school curriculum, which should contribute to the implementation of systematic and targeted educational policies in schools.
Over the two days, participants will also discuss the importance of educational activities in school life and focus on integrating the educational component into the curriculum.
