Highlights of the Project
According to the small note shared by the mayor, it should be noted that the 2.9 km long section of the locally important Ksani-Saskhori road will be fully rehabilitated, and a new 389-meter bridge will be built on the Mtkwari River. The estimated cost of the works is 20 million GEL and is fully financed from the state budget.
It is also noteworthy that the implementation of the project will greatly improve the connection between the regions. Furthermore, the Lower Kartli, Shida Kartli, and Mtskheta-Mtianeti in the direction of Nichbisi-Didgori will be connected in the shortest way, which will improve the quality of transportation and ease transport access. At the same time, the east-west expressway is relaxing, especially the entrance section of Tbilisi.
It is important to note that the project will contribute to the development of the densely populated village of Ksni as one of the important industrial areas. Currently, the Kanda-Ksani road, which connects directly to the express highway, is used to reach the village.
