Guria region, Georgia: The representatives of the plant protection sector of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of the Republic of Turkey visited the Anaseuli laboratory of Georgia situated in the Guria region on May 15, 2025.
Notably, the “Anaseuli Laboratory” in Georgia is a research facility, particularly focused on the agricultural sciences, specifically related to soil, plants, and food.Â
The Scientific Research Center for Agriculture (SRCA) shared the glimpses of its working visit on its official Facebook page on Thursday, May 15, 2025, Thursday. The SRCA also shared a small note along with the photographs.
According to the information shared by SRCA, it should be noted that the Turkish Specialists paid a working visit mainly to the Anaseuli Adam Beridze Integrated Soil, Food and Plant Protection Center of the LEPL Agricultural Scientific-Research Center.
However, the director of the center, Levan Ujmajuridze, introduced the guests to various research and practical activities underway in the center’s laboratory.
It is noteworthy that the laboratory is equipped with all the necessary equipment, entomological cages, special level II boxes – automatic climate control required for insect reproduction, where research is underway to detect biological agents of the Asian pheasant and other pests.
The guests visited the laboratory complex and also got acquainted with the work process. They also got familiarized with the experience of Georgian specialists.
The Turkish side emphasized that the integrated approach to the fight against the Asian shield represents a powerful basis. It is main done for deepening cooperation between Georgia and Turkey.
