Georgia: The Attorney General of Georgia, Giorgi Gvarakidze, visited Singapore for the 30th Annual Conference of the International Association of Prosecutors (IAP) on September 11, 2025. He met with the Attorney General of England and Wales, Stephen Parkinson and held a bilateral meeting.
The meeting was focused on discussing the legal relations between the two countries, and important measures for future collaborations and expressed their intentions to expand their future goals and developments.
The Prosecution Service of Georgia also shared the glimpses and details of the meeting on their official Facebook account today, on September 11. Locals are supporting the prosecutor of Georgia and his efforts to improve the country in terms of security and legislature.
“Georgia has the best Prosecutor General,”
said one of the citizens of Georgia while some others wished them success to serve the country well and lead its legal framework development.

This meeting was hosted by Deputy Prosecutor General Amiran Gulashvili, Head of the Department of Legal Assurance and International Relations of the Prosecutor-General of Georgia Giorgi Mikava, Acting Head of Administration Bidzina Kumsiashvili.
Also in attendance were representatives of the General Prosecutor’s Office of England and Wales – General Legal Office of England and Welsh Grace Ononiwu, the director of corruption, of England and Wales economic crime, Adrian Foster, Attorney General of Organized Crime and the International Directorate and Harvey Palmer, Chief of the Attorney General’s Office for England and Wales.
It is to be noted that the 30th session of the International Association of Prosecutors (IAP) conference is ongoing in the Republic of Singapore. The International Association of Prosecutors (IAP) unites 183 agencies from 180 countries, which also includes individual member prosecutors.
