It is important that this year, May 26, was celebrated for the first time in Levili’s historical homeland on a vast scale

The length of this year’s Festival and the number of participants have increased significantly. More than 700 artists and sportsmen will travel to Leville to participate over two months at different times. The Festival features representatives of culture and sports, folklore, and choreographic ensembles from different regions, municipal state theaters, and creative groups.

This year, the Festival features competitions or exhibition duel fights in several sports (rugby, football, wiggle, chess, Georgian martial arts). For the first time, wood artisans, writers, and art academy students participated in the Festival.

It is essential that the master’s and bachelor’s degree students (seven students) of the Academy of Art were hosted by Leville’s historical homeland for the first time this year. For several weeks, they were guests of the first creative residency based outside Georgia by the Ministry of Culture, and the works they created here will stay in Motherland Park forever.

For information, the Georgian Festival is supported by the National Wine Agency and Geovine Trading, LLC.
