Georgia: The “International Scientific-Technical Conference 2024” was held at Georgian Aviation University on June 17-18 this year, within the framework of Young Scientists’ Week of the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth.
It was also announced earlier that from June 17th to 19th, 2024, the Georgian Aviation University will host an open international scientific-technical conference. This event will welcome the participation of Georgian and international students, along with young scientists and researchers from partner universities.
The conference was scheduled as part of the “Young Scientists’ Week” organized by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia. They were grateful for the support of the Polish Embassy in Georgia, which was crucial in making this event successful.
Georgian and international students from Georgian universities and representatives of various European partner aviation organizations from Poland, Germany, Great Britain, and Latvia participated in the conference.
The university awarded the conference participants and the students who received prizes, certificates, and disposable scholarships. It should be noted that Turkish Airlines gave the student who won first place a free flight ticket to any European destination.
The success of the international scientific-technical conference was made possible by the invaluable support of the Embassy of Poland in Georgia, Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia, and USAID.

Georgian Aviation University
The Georgian Aviation University opened in 1992. At the time, the educational and scientific institute was founded as a part of the Georgian Technical University at the request of the Georgian Civil Aviation Authority.
In 2005, based on a Government decree, the institute was separated from the Technical University and established as a new independent Georgian Aviation University
