Tbilisi: The ruling party of the Republic of Georgia, Georgian Dream has denied Judge Vladimer Khuchua’s finding. Judge Vladimer Khuchua confirmed large-scale poll code violations in Georgia.
At the same time in addition to Georgian Dream, all other associate partners of Georgian Dream, such as the social media page, GD’s affiliated group and individuals, refused to acknowledge Judge Vladimer Khuchua’s claim that Georgian Dream or any other group related to Georgian Dream had committed anything to manipulate the election process of Georgia.
Judge Vladimer Khuchua, who belongs to the Tetritskaro municipality of Georgia confirmed these incidents and blamed Georgian Dream for misuse of authority as well.
According to the Judge due to a large-scale code violation at least 30 polling stations also reported doubtful results in favour of the Georgian Dream.
International Society for Fair Elections and Democracy in a statement said that due to the revelation of the Judge, he has become the target of all leaders and supporters of the Georgian Dream. Groups, organizations and fake social media handles are being used to defame the Judge and refuse to report election day incidents.
As per the statement of the International Society for Fair Elections and Democracy, as soon as the court announced its decision social media platforms, especially Facebook and TikTok were flooded with hate messages all targeting the Judge.
It also blamed the whole campaign for having the direct support of the Georgian Dream party. The pro-government channels such as Imedi, Info9, Newshub, and POSTV are being accused of negative campaigns against judges and others who made incidents of a poll code violation public.
Recently, Judge Vladimer Khuchua announced his verdict on a complaint filed by another Georgian Young Lawyer Association. In this case, he ruled in favor of GYLA.
The president also backed the Decision of Judge. She said, Only one judge dared to speak the truth. He disclosed how election results were manipulated through the misuse of electronic machines.
