As the paid internship program is set to begin soon in Georgia  many office bearers of the ruling party, Georgian Dram  have lauded it. They also thanked the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze  for this student-friendly program.

It is to be specifically mentioned that the paid internship program was initiated at the direction of Prime Minister Kobakhidze. The program aimed to provide maximum exposure to the students and prepare them for their entry into the job market.

The program will also help them hone their personal practical skills  which will enable them to get jobs in their country as well as in other countries of the world. Nowadays multinational companies have established their business in many countries  and they always look for skilled candidates. The program will equip the students with all the skills required by these companies.

It is worth noting that applications have already been invited from interested candidates to avail themselves of the program’s benefits. Interested candidates can submit their applications between 2 August and 8 August 2024.

Beka Abashidze  chairman of the youth organization of the Ruling Party  Georgian Dream  has appreciated the initiative of the Prime Minister. He stated “Paid internships are an excellent initiative for young people and will be an important support for future career development.”

With this project graduates will be able to properly present their talents and visions and significantly improve the social condition of our society. Giorgi Chakvetadze has expressed similar views: “The state program of paid internships is very important news for young people’s career development. I am sure that with this program, the public sector will get many qualified personnel.”

Another GD (Georgian Dream) office-bearer said I welcome the initiative of the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze  which means four-month paid internships in government institutions for more than 3000 graduates. This program is an important component of career advancement, professional skills development, and experience acquisition.

This is an excellent opportunity for budding professionals to put their theoretical knowledge to the University in a working environment and re-assess their career objectives. One of the main requirements of employers from potential employees is their experience. Therefore  it is important to understand the essence and importance of internships. I want to encourage young people to be active and wish them success in their professional career.
