Tbilisi: Bidzina Ivanishvili the founder of the ruling party “Georgia Dream ” has extended his best wishes to the Georgian athletes competing in the Paris Olympics. He especially congratulated the gold medalists and winners of other categories.

He added“ I would like to extend my best wishes to all the Georgia athletes competing in the Olympic games. The performances of the judokas Tato Grigalashvili, Lasha Bekauri and Ilia Sulamanidze are wonderful and they are on the right path to success.” He added that Tato Grigalashvili is already a three-time world champion and we are hopeful he will make history one day. He has every required skill to defeat his opponents and I am sure he will definitely become an Olympic champion in the next Olympic games.”
Bekauri who had secured back-to-back gold medals was also mentioned in Bidzina Ivanishvili’s speech. Lasha Bekauri is known as the legend of Georgian judo specifically. He is also called the Gem of Georgian sports in general. Bidzina Ivanishvili further said that I am sure that Lasha will make the countryman proud with his achievements.
