Georgia: The Georgian Minister of Education, Science and Youth, Givi Mikanadze, congratulates pupils, teachers, parents, and the whole school community on the start of the new school year.
The Ministry of Education, Science, and Youth of Georgia shared the glimpses of the event on its official Facebook Page on September 15, 2025. The Georgian Ministry also shared a small note about the ceremony along with its glimpses.
Givi Mikanadze stated, “Dear pupils, parents, teachers, I congratulate you with all my heart on the beginning of the new school year! This day is really special – our toddlers and first graders will paint the school doors for the first time, and students and teachers will return to the learning process.”
In recent years, the Ministry has placed a strong emphasis on developing innovative teaching methods and integrating digital technologies into classrooms.
According to him, their main goal is to ensure that every student has an equal opportunity, receives a quality education, and develops and fulfills their full potential. For this reason, they continue to implement infrastructural projects to ensure that all schools across the country have a modern standard learning environment.
They are entering the new academic year with several upgraded schools, and this is the result of the important steps the State is taking to improve education infrastructure as well as create decent conditions for learning and work.
Minister Givi Mikanadze also noted that he would like to express my sincere thanks to all the teachers, principals, and staff of the school, because you have made a significant contribution to the upbringing of the next generation, and this work is truly invaluable. “I always say that education is the power that creates the bright future of our country, ” the Georgian Education Minister added.
