The Georgian government attaches special importance to women and works with a coordinated and complex approach to fight against domestic violence.
According to the government, the National Strategy for Human Rights for 2022-2030 was approved this year, which creates a unified framework for strengthening the national system of basic human rights and freedoms and institutional democracy in the country Ebony.
The national strategy, along with other key priorities, includes the issues of gender equality and women’s rights and the principles of combating domestic violence.
