Georgia: On the initiative of the chairman of the “Georgian Dream” youth organization, Giorgi Chakvetadze, a Georgian-Hungarian friendship youth camp was held from July 30 to August 2.
The Georgian Dream Youth Organization (GD Youth) shared the glimpses of the camp on its official Facebook Page on August 3, 2025, Sunday. A small note was also shared along with its glimpses, in which it was mentioned that the camp ended on a good note.
Notably, interactive trainings and seminars were held as part of the Youth Camp, where participants learned about important topics, including increasing youth engagement in political processes and contemporary challenges.
The camp provided an opportunity for Georgian and Hungarian youth to engage in an exchange of experiences and gain international exposure.Â
The camp featured training and interactive seminars designed to facilitate this cultural exchange and learning.
In addition to the educational part, the participants of the camp visited various landmarks of Adjara and Imereti regions, including Bagrati Temple and Shekvetili Dendrological Park.
On June 17, 2025, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Georgian Dream Youth Organization and the Hungarian ruling party “Fidelitas”, which envisages a long-term partnership.
The wide-scale collaboration includes the implementation of joint conferences and projects, the organization of diverse exchange programs, and the promotion of youth initiatives in education, culture, sport, and volunteerism.
Collaboration is based on the common belief that continuous sharing of knowledge and best practices forms a solid foundation for future success. The goal of the camp is to give Georgian youth the opportunity to get international experience, and Hungarian youth the opportunity to get to know and share the Georgian experience.
