The National Olympic Committee of Georgia hosted a meeting of the SEOK Executive Committee, led by SEOK President Leri Khabelov. At the meeting, the issues on the agenda were discussed on July 15, 2024.
Members of Agmascom heard information about the final stage of Georgian athletes’ preparation for the XXXIII Summer Olympic Games and the organizational-technical events related to the trip to Paris.
Today’s session marked a significant milestone as the XXXIII Summer Olympic Games (Paris, July 26 – August 11, 2024) were officially approved. This decision was made in the presence of the Staff and head of the Georgian Olympic delegation.
The Georgian Olympic delegation, a team of strong and capable individuals, will be led by SEOC President Leri Khabelov. The head of the Olympic mission, a position of great responsibility, will be SEOC’s first vice president, Elguja Berishvili.
At the opening ceremony of the XXXIII Summer Olympic Games, the guards of the Georgian Olympic delegation will be legendary athletes—holders of all sports titles, including ten-time Olympian Nino Salukvadze and Lasha Talakhadze—the most muscular man in the world, two-time Olympic and seven-time world champion.
