Georgian PM gives speech at opening of election campaign

Georgia: The Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, gave a speech at the Opening ceremony of the “Georgian Dream” election campaign and the new central office.

The PM said, “Twelve years after the party’s foundation, Georgian Dream will have its own modern office, which is a true sign that we are not going to lose any elections for at least 12 years.”

The Minister also stated, “Over 12 years, the government of “Georgian Dream” has brought economic breakthroughs to Georgia, along with democratic: the country’s economy has grown from 28 billion to 80 billion, the pace of infrastructure construction has increased several times, the financing of health and social protection, agriculture, education, culture, sports, and other spheres, almost 700 thousand out of 100 thousand are our followers. The city has escaped poverty.”

“Despite unprecedented pressure, two revolution attempts, and artificially created rules, the government of the “Georgian Dream” has maintained peace, provided unprecedented rapid economic growth, and obtained EU membership candidate status,” Irakli Kobakhidze mentioned.

He declared that Georgian Dream” authorities successfully opposed pseudo-liberal propaganda and defended traditional values, the three pillars of our national identity—homeland, language, and faith. Georgia has always been more sovereign than it is today.

Their slogan for the parliamentary elections of October 26 is: only with peace, dignity, and prosperity towards Europe. Dignity brings peace, peace brings wealth, and prosperity brings the European future of the country.

The choice has never been as easy as it is today. The voter must decide: Do they prefer war, peace, slavery, a dignified attitude towards outside forces, liberal Bolshevism, traditional values, a dark past, or a European future of a united Georgia?

According to the Georgian PM, In 2020 or 2021, Georgia would be in a more challenging position than Ukraine if the vote was given for “National Movement,” “European Georgia,” “Girchi,” “Lelo,” or Gakharia.

He also expressed his gratitude by saying, “Thanks to the unwavering support of the Georgian people, “Georgian Dream” was able to win eight elections in 12 years. Thanks to the wisdom of the Georgian people, our government could handle all the attempts of revolution and disruption of the country to make Georgia the second front during the last four years.”

Finally, he expressed gratitude for the Georgian people’s wisdom and experience. He said, “On October 26, Georgia’s peaceful and dignified European future will win again. Georgian Dream will win again on October 26, for the ninth time, which is the only alternative way of Georgia’s progress and development.”
