Georgia, 27 February 2024: The delegation of the School of Social Sciences of the Georgian University in Berlin held meetings in various German research centers on February 27 this year.
During the meeting with the leadership of the German Foreign Policy Council and the Institute of European Policy, the prospects for future cooperation, the planning and implementation of joint scientific projects were discussed, as well as the possibilities for the German side in various forms of involvement in the annual conference of the University of Georgia.
The German Centers, funded largely from the federal budget, represent academic institutions that, besides focusing on scientific research, create policy documents, recommendations, and reports for the various structural units of the German government, NATO, and the European Union.
The meeting discussed broad geopolitical issues, the new Black Sea strategy, and the neighborhood problems of the European Union. The German side expressed the desire to cooperate closely with the School of Social Sciences of the University of Georgia.
