The Georgian weather department has released another report on the expected weather. The report covers the weather forecast for the next three days, from July 26 to 28, 2025.
According to the latest weather report, in the forthcoming days, due to high temperatures, there will be some rain, lightning, and hail in some parts of Georgia. On July 28, hot and unstable weather is expected.
The Capital City, Tbilisi, could experience short rain with thunderstorms on July 26, and on July 27-28, hot and cloudy weather will be. The air temperature in the afternoon will be +35, +37 degrees.
In coastal areas, which include the cities of Batumi, Kobuleti, Anaklia, and Poti, it will rain, and unpleasant weather is expected. The air temperature in the afternoon will be +31, +33 degrees.
At the same time, mostly uneven weather is expected in the plain regions of Western Georgia, like Zestafoni, Kutaisi, Samtredia, Zugdidi, Martvili, and Ozurgeti. The air temperature in the afternoon will be +35, +38 degrees.
In the mountainous regions of Western Georgia, Ambrolauri, Oni, Tsageri, Shovi, Chiathura, Sachkhere, Khulo, and Ricoti Pass, some rain will be expected, and on July 27-28, hot and unstable weather is expected. The air temperature in the afternoon will be +33, +38 degrees.
Similar to other mountainous regions of Western Georgia, like Mestia and Bakhmaro, it will rain in some places, and on July 27-28, hot and unstable weather is expected. Air temperature in the afternoon will be +30, +35 degrees.
In the Kartli region’s area of Rustavi, Bolnisi, Marneuli, Gardabani, Gori, and Tskhinvali, there will be some short rain with lightning and strong winds. Hail is possible for some. The air temperature in the afternoon will be +36, +38 degrees.
The Georgian weather department also stated that Kakheti will experience the same kind of weather in the upcoming days. On July 26-27, some short rain with thunderstorms is expected, and there is a possibility of hail. On July 28, the weather will be hot and unpleasant. The air temperature in the afternoon will be +34, +38 degrees.
Notably, in the mountainous regions of Eastern Georgia, like Akhaltsikhe, Borjomi, Dusheti, Tianeti, and Pasanauri, on July 26-27, some short rain with thunderstorms is expected, and possible hail. On July 28, the weather will be hot and unpleasant. The air temperature in the afternoon will be +32, +36 degrees.
The highland regions of Eastern Georgia, like Akhalkalaki, Tsalka, Bakuriani, Gudauri, and Omalo, will experience some short rain with thunderstorms and, possibly, hail. On July 28, the weather will be unpleasant. The air temperature in the afternoon will be +24, +29 degrees.
