The Georgian weather department has released another report on the expected weather. The report covers the weather forecast for the next three days, from August 12-14, 2025.
According to the latest weather report, in the forthcoming days, there will be some rain, thunder, hail, and strong winds in some parts of Georgia, accompanied by high temperatures.
The Capital City, Tbilisi, could experience short rain with thunderstorms on August 12, and on August 13-14, there will be unpleasant weather. The air temperature in the afternoon will be +30, +32 degrees.
In coastal areas, which include the cities of Batumi, Kobuleti, Anaklia, and Poti, some short rain with thunderstorms is expected on August 12, and on August 13-14, mostly uneven weather. The air temperature in the afternoon will be +27, +29 degrees.
At the same time, mostly uneven weather is expected in the plain regions of Western Georgia, like Zestafoni, Kutaisi, Samtredia, Zugdidi, Martvili, and Ozurgeti. The air temperature in the afternoon will be +30, +32 degrees.
In the mountainous regions of Western Georgia, Ambrolauri, Oni, Tsageri, Shovi, Chiathura, Sachkhere, Khulo, and Ricoti Pass, some short rain with lightning is expected on August 12, and on August 13-14, it will rain only in some areas. The air temperature in the afternoon will be +28, +30 degrees.
Similar to other mountainous regions of Western Georgia, like Mestia and Bakhmaro, some short rain with lightning is expected on August 12, and on August 13-14, it will rain only in isolated areas. The air temperature during the day will be +26, +28 degrees.
In the Kartli region’s area of Rustavi, Bolnisi, Marneuli, Gardabani, Gori, and Tskhinvali, there will be some short rain with thunderstorms in some places, hail, and strong winds. The air temperature in the afternoon will be +30, +32 degrees.
The Georgian weather department also stated that Kakheti will experience the same kind of weather in the upcoming days. Short rain with thunderstorms, possible hail, and strong winds are expected in some places. The air temperature in the afternoon will be +31, +33 degrees.
Notably, in the mountainous regions of Eastern Georgia, like Akhaltsikhe, Borjomi, Dusheti, Tianeti, and Pasanauri, short rain with thunderstorms is expected in some places, hail, and strong winds. The air temperature in the afternoon will be +28, +30 degrees.
The highland regions of Eastern Georgia, like Akhalkalaki, Tsalka, Bakuriani, Gudauri, and Omalo, will experience short rain with thunderstorms. The air temperature in the afternoon will be +20 to +25 degrees.
