The weather department used to release a report on expected weather and now again it has released another report. This latest report will cover the details of the expected weather in the coming days from August 5 to 8. According to the report mild rain with lightning can be expected in the next few days.
For capital Tbilisi report expected dry weather with mild rain on August 7. Tbilisi will also witness a northwest wind at the speed of 10-15 m/. The air temperature will be +32 +34 degrees in these coming days. In the coastal areas of the Batumi, Kobuleti, Anaklia, and Poti the weather will be rainless on August 5-6 and on August 7- 8 rain with lightning is expected.
On the other hand in the lowland areas of Western Georgia comprising the Kutaisi, Zestafoni, Zugdidi, Martvili, Samtredia and Ozurgeti on August 5-8 light rainfall with lightning is expected with temperatures between the +31, and +33 degrees. Similarly the report covers the weather of the mountainous regions of Western Georgia.
The cities of Ambrolauri, Oni, Tsageri, Shovi, Chiathura, Sachkhere, and Khulo falls in this region. This region may also experience light rain on August 5-8. However the minimum air temperature will be +28 degrees and the maximum may go up to +33 degrees.
Mestia and Bakhmaro the mountainous regions of Western Georgia can also receive light rain with lightning on August 5-8. The Kartli region’s areas including Rustavi, Bolnisi, Marneuli, Gardabani, Gori and Tskhinvali, also expect light rain and lightning. The air temperature may fluctuate between +32 and +35 degrees.
In the Kakheti region which covers the areas of Sagarejo, Telavi, Gurjaani, Sighnaghi, Lagodekh, Kvareli, Akhmeta, and Dedoplistskaro on August 5-6 the weather will be normal but on the following days of August 7-8 short rain with lightning is expected in some places. Meanwhile as per the report light to medium rain can happen in the eastern mountainous region of Georgia like Akhaltsikhe, Borjomi, Dusheti, Tianeti, and Fasanauri.
Similar the other regions of Eastern Georgia including the Akhalkalaki, Tsalka, Bakuriani, Gudauri, and Omalo, short rain with lightning is expected.
