In a significant move, thirteen Wine-producing companies of Georgia participated in the international exhibition of natural wines. This exhibition, also called “artisan wine fair (RAW WINE)”, was held in New York City, United States of America recently.
The “Raw Wine” is an communinty of small wine producers that grow, make, sell, drink, or sell clean wine cultivated in a clean environment. They organise many fairs across the globe to display the achievements of their growers and makers. The group is also nowadays trying to build an online community so that groups can have an online presence throughout the year.
The term Artisan wine used here means a type of wine that is produced by small-scale producers. They produced it in a small quantity by using the traditional and conservative method of winemaking.
The organizer of these participating companies stated that this wine exhibition gives the visitors an opportunity to become familiar with Georgian wines, the tradition of ancient wine production, and the history and culture of wine.
The winemakers and participating winemaking companies said that at the exhibition, the customers and professionals showed great interest in Georgian wine.
It is to be specifically mentioned that the United States of America is one of the major export markets for Georgian wine. Companies also stated that this exhibition would be one of the best opportunities to find potential importers of Georgian wines in the United States of America.
Vistors of the exhibition visited the different stalls and tasted the wines of different countries. Visitors also shared their reviews with the stall staff as per their personal experiences.
