Tbilisi: The National tourism administration of Georgia hosted a media delegation from Israel. The delegation is here to shoot a documentary on Georgia’s tourism destinations which will boost the country’s tourism sector in near future.
The national tourism administration of Georgia shared the information and a glimpse of the development on their social media pages. The official Facebook page of the National Tourism Administration states that ” The National Tourism Administration of Georgia is hosting a press tour from Israel. The representatives of the Ninth Channel program “Own Opinion” will film and prepare a series of programs on Georgia. As a result of the transmission cycle, Georgia will become even more attractive for tourists.”
It further stated that “ During the visit to Georgia, the member of the visiting delegation will visit Tbilisi, Borjomi, Gudauri, Gori, Kakheti region, Kutaisi, and Batumi.” It is worth noting that the National Tourism Administration used to host delegations from different countries to promote the country’s tourism potential.
Previously the administration also invited many social media influencers to shoot videos and prepare documentation to highlight Georgia’s tourism attractions. Notably just a day ago the Prime Minister of Georgia while addressing the Parliament said that the tourism and aviation sectors are the biggest sources of income for the country.
The Prime Minister further explained to the parliament the measures being taken to make the country’s tourism industry more attractive, including the addition of new direct flights to the maximum number of countries.
The visiting delegation visited different wine regions famous for their unique wine quality as Georgia is known as the land of wine. The centuries-old ancient method of winemaking, known as the Quvevri method is still in practice in many parts of the country.
The members visited the wineries to get detailed information about winemaking and to publish articles on their electronic and print platiforms of communication as well.
