Georgia: The visit of Georgian Minister of Education, Science, and Youth Giorgi Amilakhvar to the newly built vocational education institution in Khashuri municipality was a momentous occasion, underscoring the importance of vocational education in the region.
The Minister, along with Zaal Dugladze, the deputy of Khashuri and Kareli Majority, and Mariam Lashkh, a member of the Committee on Education, Science, and Youth Affairs of the Georgian Parliament, took a keen interest in the college’s renewed infrastructure, a clear sign of their commitment to ensuring the highest standards of education in the region.
The Georgian Ministry of Education, Science, and Youth has been a key player in the expansion of vocational education. Their unwavering commitment and support have been instrumental in the construction of the SSP Educational and Scientific Infrastructure Agency.
This partnership has led to the creation of state-of-the-art vocational education institutions in Khashuri municipality, a project that cost 10 million and 200 thousand GEL, serving as a testament to their dedication.
The Khashuri Municipality College is a beacon of modernity, offering a wide range of state-of-the-art facilities. These include administrative spaces, learning auditoriums, workshops equipped with high-tech machines and equipment, a cafeteria, a library, a medical room, sports, conference, activity halls, and recreational indoor and outdoor areas. Notably, the building is fully adapted for people with special needs, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility for all.
Through the implementation of the infrastructure project, the college is demonstrating its unwavering commitment to ensuring that students of vocational educational institutions in Khashuri municipality will meet the new international standards by 2024, thereby instilling confidence in the quality of education provided and the future of the students.
