The Chairman of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia, Giorgi Jincharadze, together with Abkhazia’s Minister of Finance and Economy, Tengiz Nasaridze, met with expelled businesswomen from Abkhazia at the Family Art Gallery.
At the meeting, Giorgi Jincharadze congratulated entrepreneurial women on the March holidays and checked the handmade works presented in the gallery. It is worth noting that a family art gallery has just opened, where entrepreneurs displaced from Abkhazia will have the opportunity to display and sell their products.
Giorgi Jincharadze, Abkhazia Minister of Finance and Economy, Tengiz Nasaridze, Gogita Tedoradze, President of Abkhazia Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Georgia addressed the participants of the event.
During his speech, the Prime Minister spoke about the promotion of expelled entrepreneurs and the importance of their economic independence. It also paid attention to projects and programs that the Abkhazian government is implementing to empower and promote refugee women entrepreneurs.
The event was attended by members of the Abkhazian government, women representatives of the legislative authorities and local self-government, as well as representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia.
The event, supported by the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia and organized by the Ministry of Finance and Economy of the Autonomic Republic of Abkhasia and the Abkhazia Chamber of Commerce and Industry, was held as part of the Women’s Week, which aims to create new opportunities for refugee women, promote the development of their businesses and actively engage them in economic processes.
Within the framework of the Women’s Week, organized by the Abkhazian government and its structures, various types of activities will be held throughout the country.
